1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CrockBites (crockbites.pages.dev and our canonical domain crockbites.site), you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these terms, please discontinue use of the site.

2. Culinary Content, Food Safety & Nutrition Disclaimer

All recipes, slow-cooker timing guides, allergen declarations, dietary labels, and nutrition estimates on CrockBites are provided for informational and home-cooking purposes only:

• Food Safety: Slow cookers, stovetops, and ovens vary by manufacturer, wattage, and altitude. You are responsible for following safe food-handling practices and verifying safe minimum internal cooking temperatures with an instant-read food thermometer (for example, 165°F / 74°C for poultry and leftovers, and 160°F / 71°C for ground beef and pork). • Nutrition & Allergens: Nutrition Facts and dietary or allergen badges are provided as good-faith references based on standard USDA ingredient data and editorial review. Always inspect specific product packaging and ingredient labels in your kitchen, especially when cooking for someone with a severe food allergy or medical dietary restriction. Nothing on CrockBites constitutes medical or dietetic advice.

3. Member Accounts & Security

• You must provide accurate information when registering an account and keep your login credentials confidential.
• You may not impersonate another person, register automated or bulk accounts, or attempt to bypass authentication, CSRF protections, or rate limits.
• You may close and permanently delete your account at any time from your Profile & Settings page.

4. Community Reviews & User Content

Signed-in members may submit star ratings and written reviews on published recipes. Reviews are published immediately upon submission:

• One Review Per Recipe: Each member may maintain one active review per recipe, which you can edit or delete at any time directly on the recipe page or in your My Reviews dashboard.
• Community Standards: Reviews must reflect genuine feedback or questions about the recipe. You may not post unlawful, defamatory, abusive, promotional, or spam content, or include malicious links or scripts.
• License & Moderation: By posting a review, you grant CrockBites a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display your review, rating, and display name on the platform. We reserve the right to remove any review that violates these Terms or suspend accounts engaged in abuse.

5. Intellectual Property & Personal Use

All original recipe text, step-by-step instructions, photography, illustrations, and branding on CrockBites are owned by CrockBites or its content creators. You are welcome to print or save recipes for personal, non-commercial home cooking, and to share links to our pages. Republishing full recipe instructions or photographs on another website, app, or print publication without prior written permission is prohibited.

6. Limitation of Liability

CrockBites is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, CrockBites and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the website or preparation of any recipe.
